Final Fantasy Tactics Remastered‘s announcement was a welcome surprise to many, older fans along with the younger generation would be able to experience the epic PS1 game again with some new things that would improve the experience such as voice acting. Things took a wrong turn recently however, as it was confirmed that the content found on the PSP version, the definitive version to play the game despite some optimization issues, has been cut. This has made many fans worried about the state of this game, because not only does this release have to deal with Denuvo too like the Raidou Remaster, but less additions are always bad for finding a definitive way to play.
Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster does a blunder
Extra classes and missions from the PSP version will be gone, all of it. An interview was posted on the official Square Enix site about the decisions made to improve the game, and it seems that this remaster is primarily there to revitalize the original game and respect the original vision, that being the PS1 version that didn’t have this content originally. Despite this decision, it feels quite bad to see things that seamlessly integrated with the game disappear, they even confirm that the new additions were well received back when the PSP version launched.
Regardless of this, one can always go back to the PSP version whenever they want, and there’s plenty of community mods and additions done to it to do away with the lag and other issues. While it might not be the definitive way to play from a content perspective, it is nice to see a classic like Final Fantasy Tactics get another shot in our current days of gaming, classics should never be forgotten, the same way that we shouldn’t forget about our history with them too.

It’ll most likely be paid dlc content
They do this all the time, though you can look at their track record, they always end up releasing it a lot of times they said it wasn’t going to be in. And the stuff was there at lunch or was added shortly after his dlc, that is Square’s MO.
