DEATHLOOP is free on the Epic Store. Finally one can play this game without paying money, trying to get it for free otherwise would be an issue since it has Denuvo Anti Tamper. This is another Bethesda game however, so expect it to be quite clunky on PC. Epic Games always does a ton of gifts when it comes to games, its pretty much an incentive to get you to use that storefront. Despite that, Steam has cemented itself as the king of PC gaming, and no matter how many free games come out on Epic, people won’t really care. We at Infinite Start will cover this opportunity.

At the very least, the only use for Epic is trying to get some free stuff that cannot be obtained in any other way. Since this is a game coming from the hands of a big publisher, there shouldn’t be any remorse when it comes to trying to get it without paying. This is the best opportunity to try and reclaim a victim of Denuvo, Linux players might have to find a workaround however, and Heroic Launcher can be that hero you need to save your life and run the game.
The Epic Store does a terrible job at pointing out which games have DRM, and which don’t. DEATHLOOP is unfortunately a victim of being made by a company that thought it wouldn’t sell. Thankfully, for those who might miss on this opportunity, it seems that someone has managed to do some nice work on liberating DEATHLOOP and preserving it for posterity.
DEATHLOOP is a game about an assassin named Colt who gets stuck in a time loop and is forced to repeat the same day again and again. Back then, it truly revolutionized the FPS genre when it dropped in 2021, you should give it a try due to its unique mechanics.
