Fantasian Neo Dimension finally lacks the Denuvo malware. Square Enix did the smart choice of removing Denuvo from one of its most important titles, and now its going to sell well. They could have sold a decent chunk had they decided to not use Denuvo, but it seems that they are allergic to cash. PC player who paid for the game now have a virus installed on their PCs, not to mention that they cannot run the game on the Steam Deck thanks to that malware, Linux does not allow it. People on Windows now run the risk of being remotely attacked by someone who knows how to exploit Denuvo. We at Infinite Start will briefly cover this game.
Fantasian Neo Dimension is worth it
Fantasian Neo Dimension is pretty much what the newer Final Fantasy titles should be, in fact, this game is made by veterans of the Final Fantasy franchise who don’t wish to deal with the current state of the ruined series. Starting as a humble phone game locked to Apple exclusivity, Fantasian Neo Dimension now enjoys support from multiple platforms, allowing sales to keep flowing as deserved.
The game picks up the best elements of of Final Fantasy and adds its own touch to the formula, making it quite the refreshing JRPG. The art direction is also outstanding, using dioramas as a way to create maps, similar to the old yet gold pre-rendering techniques of the early gold gaming days. People yearn to go back to those times, but now we are in a race of realism cause realism sells and it pleases investors.
Fantasian Neo Dimension is the definitive proof that games with the same style have a chance to proliferate, and that they never get outdated. The concept of “outdated” in gaming is quite contradictory in itself, and it is clear that it was created by corporate suits who don’t know gaming as a medium, but as a cash cow to kill.
