Hollow Knight Silksong is one of the most awaited sequels that people have been wanting for years now. It’s been almost a decade since the original Hollow Knight dropped on 2017, and it happened to be one of the best indies of all time. Silksong was originally planned as an extra scenario to the original Hollow Knight, however, Team Cherry has gone far and beyond the repurpose that idea into a full game. It takes a lot of time to cook something that has lots of quality and effort put behind, and this unfortunately caused many to lose hope on the project ever releasing. However, things have changed now, and the hype is everywhere.

The trailer gives us a look at plenty of new elements that Silksong will introduce, it is clear that this new sequel will evolve the formula of the already successful Hollow Knight. We can expect tons of new bosses and a huge new world to explore too, making the lore of the Hollow Knight world grow deeper.
There’s still not a proper release date for this game, however, its has been assumed by many that 2025 will be the year it comes out. Almost 9 years have passed, people have been waiting for Hollow Knight Silksong and some fans have not given up when waiting for it, their loyalty will be rewarded with a good piece of art.
Art takes many shapes, and games as a medium of expression seems to be making a comeback lately. Hollow Knight Silksong will be a needed push to drive that movement even further with renewed strength. Indie developers who put so much effort into their craft are a sight to marvel at, and we as people who enjoy the medium must respect their creative desires and give them lots of support.
