Daemon X Machina has been one of the best received games in the budget gaming sphere for years now. Seems like Marvelous saw the sales and decided to make a new sequel to keep filling up the underrated Mecha Game genre. Unfortunately, it seems that they have decided to ditch mech variety in favor of restricting players into using Exosuits. Many PC gamers aren’t happy about this change, there’s still no proper announcement on why this happened, but perhaps its done to cut on costs. We at Infinite Start will cover this new surprising sequel that nobody expected to come.
Daemon X Machina is back
People love the original title, and it has been considered as a proper Armored Core replacement for a while now. However, From Software did the unthinkable, and resurrected the series with Armored Core 6, which broke the gaming community for a while. To this day, people are still playing Armored Core 6, and some who aren’t able to do so still wish they could. Thankfully, Daemon X Machina actually provides a solid replacement for those who need to still upgrade their systems.
Armored Core 6 is pretty intensive compared to the original Daemon X Machina, and I could even say that this new sequel is still nowhere near the graphical level of Armored Core 6. This is not a bad thing however, in fact, people would rather have a game that does not look realistic and runs well, cause you know, games exist to be played. Optimizing your games goes a long way when it comes to trying to build a sustainable community around them.
For every person who can get into the latest trendy game, there’s 10 who just buy the older more optimal ones. People naturally gravitate towards more optimized games, and we are sure that people will gravitate towards Daemon X Machina’s sequel, regardless of if these changes are good or not.
