Battlefield 6 Alpha Gameplay Leaks Online

New gameplay of the next Battlefield 6 has leaked online, giving some indication of how the game is coming along. Leaks are being done through the Battlefield Labs program, where fans get to experience early builds of the game and give feedback to developers.

The leaked video, as reported by Insider Gaming, depicts the game’s “all-out destruction,” a Battlefield tradition, alongside gameplay, animations, and a new user interface. Battlefield 6 seems to be going back to its origins with Conquest modes of large player numbers with squad-based gameplay and generally traditional classes such as Assault and Support.

Dogfighting fighter jets over the “Capstone” map is also demonstrated, along with shootouts on the ground. Keep in mind this is an alpha playtest and not representative of the final product. There should be some tweaks made before the game is officially released, which should happen in EA’s 2026 fiscal year (April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026).

DICE, Criterion, EA Motive, and Ripple Effect are making Battlefield 6. Battlefield Labs is a plan where players can try out new features and new content additions to the game pre-emptively. Players participating are under an NDA but leaks have still been happening. Invites for Battlefield Labs came out on April 17, and new leaks followed soon afterwards.

Historical leaks and rumors suggest that Battlefield 6 will include new recoil styles and movement animations, improved gunplay, and movement option indicators. Rumors also suggest that the feature of 3D spotting is returning and the game will have servers optimized for 60Hz.

Battlefield Labs keeps inviting fans to contribute to the development process, giving them a sneak peek into the game under construction. There are also sign-ups on the site for Battlefield Labs, and it also includes a link to the official Battlefield Discord server where players can chat and get updates.
