The First Mine is a new indie experience coming soon to a PC nearby you. This new strategy game experience is all about trying to grow a mine. In a way, one can think of this as if it were Project Rubydung. Project Rubydung was the original Minecraft version that became lost media, and it was more similar to a management game. This game is in a top down perspective however, and the maps are divided by hexagons. Hexagons are also quite common to see in many strategy video games, and even board games. We at Infinite Start will cover this new indie release coming soon to PC.

The First Mine of mines

Play a calm and relaxed game alone in single player mode or play together with up to 4 friends in multi player mode. Each round you have to place, group and upgrade various tiles to mine gold and collect resources like wood, stone, wheat and fish. To mine gold, you need people in your villages. To keep them, you must provide enough wheat and fish. More people and a higher level increases the amount of gold produced per round. You need wood and stone to upgrade the level.

In order to increase your yield per round, you can solve various tasks during the game and observe the requirements when placing tiles. In addition, there are different random game events that can influence the game in a positive or negative way. In a way, one can say that this game looks like Settlers of Catan, and they would be right. This game exudes lots board game energy and its shaping up to be quite interesting. If you are interested in this new release, be sure to save up cause it will drop in 2025. To remember this, try to wishlist this new title to boost the developer.
