Lunacid has been received in a positive light by many. This prompted KIRA LLC to produce yet another title on the series. Lunacid – Tears of the Moon, is a new spinoff entry that is actually made in the Sword of Moonlight engine, a very old tool from 25 years ago developed by From Software. This ensures that the new title can run in pretty much any hardware, even the big potato PCs that many of us have. It is always so neat when a new game comes out that decides to be mindful with resource usage. We at Infinite Start will discuss what we know of this new entry.

Lunacid world gets crazier

The Kingdom of Lyria rests in darkness, surrounded on all sides by the vast poison sea. Your objective is to survive in this world of magic that has been overrun by calamity. To do so, you need to acquire powerful equipment hidden through the world in the most King’s Field fashion. Becoming stronger is key if you wish to survive in this dangerous world where everything can take you out easily. Games like this are often quite difficult, but with mastering them comes a great sensation of surpassing your limits.

Since the engine of this game is so old, you only need to be running on Windows XP to play it. This is an amazing feat, since using older engines is often harder than coding in newer ones where everything is more accessible. Thanks to this, the game can run smooth like butter due to the fact that bloat was basically non existent many years ago. We need to strive for games that respect our consumer needs, upgrading a computer just for games that get more and more sloppy is not something many can do.

If you are interested in this new addition to the Lunacid world, you can wishlist this new title to boost the developer behind. The game is coming soon, on April 12 of this year, so what are you waiting for?
