Drift Shell

Drift Shell is a cool PvP mech game currently in Alpha

Drift Shell is what you would get if you combine furries with Armored Core. In this new PC indie title, battle across a devastated future earth to serve the interests of two corporations. Much to the like of Armored Core titles, it was thanks to this corporations that earth was annihilated, a cautionary tale that is slowly becoming a reality. This game is centered around the PvP aspects that Armored Core does not touch in depth, and this becomes more of a Gundam VS. The game boasts some retro looking low poly aesthetics and its currently being in development. We at Infinite Start will cover this new mech game.

Drift Shell in alpha mode

Boost skate, fly, and blast your way through the battle field, it is important to make a strategy if you wish to survive in this intense PvP game. Choose how you want to approach combat with highly customizable mechs and weapon builds. Similar to Armored Core, the game boasts a decently sized arsenal of weapons and equipment. Trying to master a specific play style might be the best bet you have if you wish to do well at it. As an old saying goes, jack of all trades master of none, trying to main a single strategy is always the key to victory.

Indie games are often great projects filled with love towards older franchises. In this case, the love for Armored Core is clear with this one, even the aesthetics are trying to be replicated. Gameplay like this is needed in today’s industry filled with lots of unoptimized slop. Games that are able to run on low end hardware will be what we need to go further and expand the medium. Many newer games are failing and nobody is playing them, system requirements play a part on this situation.
