Call of Boba is another cozy game coming from indie developers. This new PC exclusive title is filled with lots of vibrancy and a very cute art style. Your mission as Bobo the penguin, is to save a Boba tea shop from ruin. To do so, you must grow and acquire your own materials to start making Boba tea and please your customers. There’s a lot of influence from many games in the indie space, mainly the harvesting from Stardew Valley. There’s also cool new additions, you can fight monsters to acquire ingredients too, in the style of Enter the Gungeon. We at Infinite Start will cover this new mix.
Call of Boba in early access
This new game is still in early access, but one can actually jump in regardless. According to the developers at Tomatoast: “Call of Boba is releasing in Early Access to invite our community into the development process, allowing players to experience the cozy gameplay firsthand and enabling us to gather valuable feedback. Your insights will help shape future updates and enhancements leading up to our 1.0 release.”
Indie games often take community feedback seriously, respecting their core fan base often pays out. Compared to triple A developers who often listen the takes from a certain group of people, indie developers are more lenient and take what’s best for the game. Engage in many activities as you enjoy forming bonds with your customers, expanding the love for Boba through the village the shop resides in.
There will also be many customization options for those who are fans of customizing everything. You can even customize the layout of your shop, which is very neat. If you are interested in the game, you can try to wishlist it in case you wish to await for version 1.0 to drop out soon. That will give a boost to the developers behind.
