Big Rigs is making a surprising comeback to PC. This is one, if not the worst racing game ever made in the history of the genre. However, if you are interested in feeling what would it be for American Truck Simulator to be turned into a racing game without balancing, well, here is your chance. This game released back in 2003, so its technically the 22 anniversary since its inception. Would have been more logical to drop this one in 2028 but it seems that this is mostly just a joke release. We at Infinite Start will cover this car wreck of a game.
Big Rigs is a big fail
Apparently, the company behind this specific release is unknown, the only game they published is just this one. There’s a theory going around that this game is actually just stolen from the real developers and is currently being uploaded as a joke. However, we can see that the developer, Stellar Stone, actually matches with the real one. Sergei Titov is the person responsible for the creation of Big Rigs engine, one of the most buggy and disastrous racing game engines ever.
It is rumored that this same individual has actually been employed as the technical director for Riot Games. Which would explain many things, especially the buggy and unreliable nature of the Live Service slop that Riot Games tends to put out constantly. Leaving this matter aside, Big Rigs making a comeback wasn’t in the bingo card of anyone. There’s still no pricing for this game, but it should honestly by a 1 dollar game or less.
You can see by yourself how chaotic this game is when it comes to gameplay. Having no collisions truly makes for a messy racing experience. The cherry on top however, is the acceleration mechanics in it. If you value logic in your life, never try to go in reverse.
