Automaton Heart

Automaton Heart is a game with an open Kickstarter project

Automaton Heart is a new indie game made by Luke Vincent, who already has experience in the industry by making some 3DS titles. He already ported his games to PC to properly preserve his work after the fall down of the E-Shop. Part of Automaton Heart’s plot will be based around the concept of preservation, and you technically take the role of an archeologist of your own world. Along with this, the game carries a big emphasis on being driven by environmental ideologies that were common to see in 90s games like Final Fantasy 7. We at Infinite Start will cover this new esoteric game.

Automaton Heart has a good start

The Kickstarter campaign of the game has finally reached its goal. Accruing more than $5000 dollars, the game is set to have a nice start. We can hope that development budget can be used properly to bring the best out of Luke’s vision. Automaton Heart is an adventure game with third person shooter elements set in an esoteric world. Your task is to uncover the history of the place you find yourself trapped in during an expedition to find your creator, learn about your origins, and stabilize the planet’s ecosystem that is about to go awry.

The game falls in the category of an ARPG, since you have a leveling system where you can upgrade your organs to perform better in the game. This is quite reminiscent to Deus Ex, where you can have body modifications to perform tasks and combat better. The aesthetics of Automaton Heart are very low poly, quite reminiscent to that of older PC games. There’s 2 characters to play as, Uma and Alma, both having different story lines that eventually converge with each other. If you are interested in this dark yet familiar ARPG, you can wishlist this new title on Steam to boost the developer.
