MMOs often thrive on extorting money from their players. Each have their own insidious ways of carrying this task out. Be it loot boxes, time walls, or many other Dark Patterns, these games will use all methods to acquire more money. The War Thunder MMO is being review bombed for carrying out these greedy practices with their new update. Players are fed up with injustice, and we at Infinite Start stand by them.

Make love not war

War gaming is a very fun concept that works in variety of mediums. Video games are often the prime target for this kind of entertainment. Offering immersion and the possibility to strategize, it makes sense why people love war gaming so much. Unfortunately, there is always bad actors in the gaming space. War Thunder for being terribly greedy, but this is the last drop that overflowed the glass. War Thunder updated their game to add an auction house system.

Players are dissatisfied by this and they are properly bashing the title with negative reviews. This is a correct way to voice discontent by players, and it should be supported further. When companies are unable to provide their users with content they desire, people should stop buying or consuming their product. Doing this, it gives a clear signal to the corporate caste that you won’t put up with what they force upon you. The War Thunder company will soon understand this.

There’s thousands of games coming out, many heartfelt indie titles are being crafted. The gaming landscape is one of art and expression, and despite the dark times we live in, we must protect that. Indies are often cheap, one payment only titles that end up living in the minds of everyone who plays them. And there’s always a title for everyone, as they cover and even invent some new genres of game. More people should stop giving money to greed, and should give money to art instead.
