Most of the updates brought to the PC title Thronefall are mainly for game modes. The last update has apparently brought a whooping 12 Mini Game modes to the games. True Endless has been one of the most awaited game modes for many. Endless modes in game often amp up the replay value to the max, offering a proper challenge. It is fun to always compare how long can you last under extreme conditions with your friends.
Game modes strive to add variety to an already varied game, and it is important to make them as varied as possible. Different experiences can bring many players to your game, provided you do them right. GrizzlyGames has done a commendable effort with this task, giving us one of the biggest updates ever in the Indie Space. Many are hyped to try all the modes out. Along with True Endless, there’s Reverse Siege, where you actually play as the enemy forces. This is a feature that looks extremely innovative for the Tower Defense genre, being the antithesis of it.
The PC title Thronefall does not stop giving us surprises, be it its mechanical depth, or its amazing minimalist art style. It is cool to see Indie games rising to become the most predominant type in such dark times. People should develop games that they like, no matter if trends are being followed or not. To combat this grim times, human imagination and creativity are the most needed. Thronefall clearly has both of these aspects.
