This new mecha game has a very interesting approach. The PvP driven Mecha Simultactics by RJ Arcade has a playable demo ready for PC players. We still don’t know when the title will drop, but it might be coming soon for Steam users. In the meanwhile players might want to enjoy the freely available Alpha demo to test the game out. We at Infinite Start will cover the details behind the game after the break.
PvP Turn Based Mechs
Mecha Simultactics aims to bring an unique PvP experience to players. Being primarily focused on a turn based mode brings a breath of fresh air to PvP games. In the seas of sloppy First Person shooters and MOBA games that seeks to wring out all cash from players, Mecha Simultactics stands imposing. This new game is truly unique, merging Turn Based with simultaneous actions, bringing an interesting PvP experience to play and watch.
Being clearly inspired by tactical mecha games such as Front Mission, this game aims to please the starved crowd for such titles. One does need to take into account that, being primarily a PvP oriented game, it is bound to the costs of servers. For Indie developers, maintaining costs can be a bit complicated, compared to multi billion dollar companies. However, online services aren’t as expensive as triple A developers make them out to be. This is another proof coming from the Indie space that signals how much triple A companies lie.
The game looks pretty well taken care of, and players can expect to enjoy lots of epic battles driven by tactics and optimal decision making. One can think of Mecha Simultactics as some sort of rock paper scissors but with different properties, being of course more advanced and unique. If you are interested in the title, you can try out the demo and wish list it on Steam.
