Jitter is a new indie title that will blend Sci-fi with survival elements that PC players can test out. Developer Berko Games promises the experience to be immersive, and it truly feels that way. In Jitter, you will play in a mining colony set on space. The objective of the game is to survive the hostile environment posed by the colony itself and discover what is happening. Indie games never cease to amaze with their new ideas always being sprinkled through so many games. We at Infinite Start will cover what the game can offer to new players.
Survival of the apt
The most important mechanic in the game is trying to expand your ship. This can be done by finding plenty of parts scattered across in a wreckage, and there are plenty of them. Jitter focuses on the act of survival, by amassing a crew and properly building your ship, your chances increase to keep living on. Players will be able to find survivor crew mates as the keep exploring the mining facility.
The twist of Jitter however, is that you aren’t just a crew mate who organizes things to ensure survival. You actually play as the ship, or more specifically the onboard AI of the ship. Building yourself up is a crucial element to ensure you can keep exploring further into the mining area.
As one progresses they can find plenty of different situations going on. These range from mere space debris trying to damage your ship to actual space skirmishes with dangerous foes. That is not all, however, as the game also presents players with the ability to also manage a crew of survivors, each with its own backstories to tell. This is truly an innovative take on the survival genre and Jitter feels already set for success. If you wish to show support to the game, you can try out the demo and wishlist it.
