Diablo IV Drops Patch 2.1.2

Diablo 4 Patch 2.1.2 Coming with Exciting Bug Fixes

Blizzard has scheduled the upcoming Diablo 4 Patch 2.1.2, set to release on February 18 on every platform. The patch will include nothing but quality-of-life changes and bug fixes and will cover the base game as well as Vessel of Hatred expansion.

The patch accompanies the news of Diablo 4‘s next expansion being pushed until 2026, putting a stop to the initial plan for yearly expansions. Instead of rolling out content as fast as they can, Blizzard is going to take its good time to show a superior release. Meanwhile, players can look forward to persistent seasonal content that will keep them busy in 2025.

Big Fixes and Changes in Patch 2.1.2

Patch 2.1.2 adds some Season of Witchcraft bug fixes, including The Pit portal cost and seasonal goal show bugs. Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeons will also get a new affix that promises a Forgotten Altar spawn, and the Decay Augmentation tooltip has been reworded for clarity.

Among the biggest changes is the nerf to Druid’s Lacerate skill in Patch 2.1.1, preventing movement while channeling. Blizzard did this to players’ request and moved the skill to where it was before. The patch will also fix Unique Power rolls on skills like Malefic Crescent and Fractured Winterglass, that they properly scale with Greater Affixes.

In addition, players will also see a set of gameplay and UI enhancements, such as enhanced party finder listings and minion damage calculation fixes. Another long-awaited feature is also finally available—players can now pet Dorian the Raven, the Season of Witchcraft intro.

With the Diablo 4 Lunar Awakening event already imminent, the players do not have much time to collect the last rewards before the latest update comes live. As Blizzard works on Diablo 4, Patch 2.1.2 appears to present a better and smoother experience for the endgame and seasonal.
