As if the Nvidia 5090 wasn’t expensive and useless enough, compared to other GPUs, ASUS takes it a step further. It seems that the bright people at ASUS decided to make a 5090 out of gold, dubbing it Dhahab, which is Arabic for Gold. The card is obviously aimed to those who have tons of cash to spare and are financially irresponsible, similar to the base 5090. This proves that once again, the hardware market has discarded every shred of humanity and plunged into total greed. We at Infinite Start will cover what will happen now.
Money everywhere
There has been severe price increases going on, along with multiple system failures caused by the new 5090 cards. Even people who don’t know anything about PC components are starting to hold out from buying into the scam. The only people who do not stop, are those who don’t have any sense of financial responsibility. While the card might be exclusive to the Middle East region, it is clear that this is pointed towards the elite caste.
This highly expensive card is honestly useless compared to older models from Nvidia, although, the company has been lacking for years now. ASUS decided to get greedy and see if they could cash in on the sudden hype for this overpriced card. People have already fought a scalping war to try and get their hands on this defective product. The PC community seems to have gone insane after seeing multiple games list the 5090 as a requirement to run them in max graphics.
But the reality is, nobody has to play unoptimized slop, if publishers don’t see money flowing in, then they will change their plans. The only way to stop this is to not buy into the current fad that gaming has become. Indie games abound, and they are often more cheap and endearing experiences that are made with love.
