New York Game Awards 2025 Winners Revealed

The 14th Annual New York Game Awards held by the New York Videogame Critics Circle honored tons of games released in 2024 and celebrated a clear winner in multiple categories of which Astro Bot was the biggest winner as it took home Game of the Year, Best Music, and Best Kids Game. The award ceremony also honored Remedy Entertainment Creative Director Sam Lake for his decades-long contribution to the Videogame industry.

While Astro Bot was the main star of the show with winning the most awards, several other amazing games were also honored along with some of the people as well who have played an important role in the industry for the past couple years. Among them was the highly praised DLC for Elden Ring which is Shadow of the Erdtree which won multiple awards in both Best World and Best DLC categories.

Other award winners in the show were Simone De Rochefort and Clayton Ashley in the Knickerbocker Award for Best Games Journalism category for the duo’s contribution in The Great Game: The Making of Spycraft, Troy Baker winning Best Acting in a Game for his terrific performance as Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, along with UFO 50 winning in the Best Indie Game category.
