Getting the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl can be tasking as players would have to go through complex processes. But in the end, the Eye Artifact proves worthy of it all not because of its abilities but because of its special look. Aside from the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2, the game offers several other artifacts for players which all have their various benefits and downsides too, including their unique designs that make the difference between each of them.
Notably, the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2 takes the shape of a glowing eye with frequently contracting pupils which gives a creepy feeling but an organic composition. On that note, the Eye Artifact is one of the few that are worth the grind. That said, it can be farmed for in thermal anomalies, but it can also be added to a player’s collection through the steps that’d be stated later.
Getting the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2
For players who would love to get the Eye Artifact in Stalker, they’ll need to interact a little with an NPC, comply with their terms, and provide directions. Although the Eye Artifact only offers weak thermal protection against weak radioactive side effects, it’s one of the best unique-looking artifacts to have in a player’s collection. That said, here’s how to get it.
It all begins when the player receives a radio transmission from a nearby stalker just after returning from his visit to Clear Sky Base in the Ad Astra Per Aspera main mission in Stalker 2. The Stalker NPC would invite the player to come in and chat. The NPC Kemarik is located just beside the Circus which the player comes across while returning from their base.To get the Eye Artifact, the player is required to meet up with Kemarik and his band of fellow stalkers and start a discussion. Players can get the Eye Artifact in Slaker 2 depending on how the discussion goes.
When inside Kemarik’s territory, he begins a conversation with Skif about how he safely returned from the Swamps. Just after that, Kemarik would shift the conversation to asking Skif how he managed to safely reach the Clear Sky Base in the first place. It gets tricky from here on out as players should try to make the conversation longer to finally get to the point where Kemarik rewards them with the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2.
On that note, when Kemarik requests to know how Skif managed to reach Clear Sky Base, they are required to simply reply with “Nimble Helped Me.” Replying with that helps to further the conversation. The reason behind Kemarik asking such a question becomes clearer as the dialogue unfolds. After that question, Kemarik goes on to ask whether any valuable loot was found on the way. While this seems like an important question, it doesn’t hold much weight and players can decide to answer with any of the responses or simply choose to support his point of Clear Sky Base being a great loot location. That said, players should select on “Yeah, there’s good loot there. “
After that, the conversation with Kemarik continues to move forward as Kemarik requests directions to get to Clear Sky Base. When the question is posed, players can either antagonize Kemarik which would eventually lead to a fight with him and his band of stalkers, or comply with Kemarik and provide directions to Clear Sky Base. Clearly, fighting with him and his band wouldn’t lead to him rewarding you with the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2, leaving only the last option available to players which gives him the directions he requested for.
Doing that would make Kemarik grant the reward of the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2 to Skif. After this, Kemarik and his band would head to the Clear Sky Base following his orders where they farm for rewards. The Eye Artifact doesn’t offer much of an advantage to players due to its weak radioactive protection, but its worth the grind because of its unique look and feel.
