Warner Bros. Games confirmed long standing rumors that the Powerpuff Girls will be playable in MultiVersus.
They will be headlining the season along with Amazon Warrior Nubia, a Midnight Showing (Gremlins) map. A destroyed version of Townsville will also be a playable map later this season.
Following the news a trailer was released showcasing the unique fighter. As previously rumored, the Powerpuff Girls are a single assassin character featuring all three girls. Their attacks make use of this, complete with a number of exciting references.
Fan of the series will also notice two costumes were teased. The first are the Dynamo Suits, which come from the iconic Uh Oh Dynamo episode of the original series. In addition to the suits, another costume that changes the girls to the Rowdyruff Boys will be available. Despite being an obvious choice, it’s one that will undoubtedly resonate with a number of fans.
All of this, and more will be available on Sept. 17 when MultiVersus Season 3: Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice releases.
