Sony revealed their Aug. 2024 PlayStation Plus Essential offerings, which includes some pretty substantial games.
Starting the month off is LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga on PlayStation 4/5. This massive experience allows players to experience all nine Star Wars saga films in a single title. Not only is this a lot of lightsabers, climatic moments, and iconic scenes, it offers untold hours of things to do. How Long to Beat pegs it at roughly 20 hours to finish the main story, and 90 hours to get every collectible.
Joining it is Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights on PlayStation 4.This 2D soulslike has a lot of weapons, and charm as players attempt to survive that hostile world. It also makes for a great introduction to the world, which continues in Ender Magnolia: Bloom of the Mist. It’s currently in early access on PC, with a PlayStation version confirmed.
Closing out the month is Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach on PlayStation 4/5. This Five Nights at Freddy’s spin-off did not find the same critical, or commercial success as the mainline series, it did offer an experience that resonated with players.
All of these titles will be available on Aug. 6, and will run until Sept. 2.
