Destiny 2: The Final Shape added a new subclass, Prismatic, which offers near endless new gameplay options. Since this subclass’ unlock method was changed to address concerns with Stasis/Strand it’s a lot more straightforward, unless you’re on an alternate character. Most of the unlocks come from story, and once the class is unlocked it will have access to whatever Fragments you have, but getting the remaining Aspects and Supers can be a bit confusing.
How to Unlock Prismatic Super and Aspects for Alternate Characters in Destiny 2: The Final Shape
Unlocking the First Time
The first time these are unlocked by finishing the narrative, and doing the optional quests related to Ergo Sum. This is a rather straightforward experience that unlocks the highly desired items.
Unlocking on Other Characters
On your second, third, or whatever character the quests will not appear even if you beat the full narrative. As a result, the unlocking method can be a bit confusing without some additional help.
Like the first time, players must complete both Home, The Hollow, and Queens missions. While this might seem obvious, the confusion stems from how The Lost City hub is set up.
In most situations you’ll only interact with the Ghost vender, Postmaster, Micah-10, or Vault.
None of these locations, even the Vault, is guaranteed to trigger the waypoint to the additional missions located to the left and right of this hub. For this reason it’s extremely easy to be confused, especially if you forgot these elements unlocked from these stages originally.
