Square Enix has now announced the official English voice actor for Vincent Valentine in the new Final Fantasy VII Rebirth video game. It’s not the same person who voiced him in the Advent Children movie!

Matthew Mercer had a prolific career voicing many characters in other animes, video games, and cartoons. This is the first time he’ll voice Vincent in a Final Fantasy project.
Matthew Mercer replaces voice actor legend Steve Blum who voiced him previously in the Advent Children movie.
