Playism confirmed their current PC exclusive first-person action title Bright Memory: Infinite will come to PlayStation 5 and Switch, along with the previously revealed Xbox Series, later this year.
Zeng, indie game developer at FYQD Studios commented the following on the reveal:
I know people had to wait a bit longer, but my partners and I decided we needed to take as much time as possible to makeBright Memory: Infiniteshine on consoles.
We used that extra time to optimize the game on each device. I was confident about gettingBright Memory: Infiniteon consoles, but playing the game on those platforms still feels like a miracle.

Along with the news, Playism revealed what players can expect from the various different console versions:
Both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions support raytracing with reflections at 60 FPS, with a 120 FPS performance mode also available for those seeking the smoothest combat experience. The PlayStation 5 version also utilizes DualSense adaptive trigger features, available only in this edition.
On the other end of the power spectrum, the Nintendo Switch version, which runs natively on hardware and not through the cloud, features multi-sampling of TAA anti-aliasing for a stylish presentation on the go, along with gyroscopic aiming support. Each console edition will include all the cosmetic DLC from the PC version with the base game.

Story

Gameplay
Bright Memory: Infinitecombines the FPS and action genres to deliver a high-octane experience. Mix and match available skills and abilities to unleash magnificient combos on your enemies. Your trusted sword allows you to slash through crowds of enemies and even repel their gunfire. The guns you come across in-game can be customized with a variety of ammunitions. Choose between incendiary bombs, sticky grenades, homing missiles, and more to suit your situation.
Development
Created by FYQD-Studio, Bright Memory: Infinite is the sequel to the popular Bright Memory. However, the sequel features an all-new world, along with newly created improved battle system and level design.
Developer Comment
For Bright Memory: Infinite, I wanted to focus on adding content to give players a more satisfying experience. As a result, development took three times as long as Bright Memory. This process allowed me to learn how to create a strong game while dealing with time and financial constraints. I spent a lot of time thinking of ways to maximize whatever technology and resources available to me in order to deliver an unforgettable experience through the game. As such, Bright Memory: Infinite represents the culmination of FYQD Studio’s growth.
