Microsoft announced today that Bandai Namco’s Dark Souls III gets the much-anticipated FPS Boost, an enhancement to previously released backward compatible titles on both Xbox Series X|S that help boost framerates to nearly double of their original.
With Dark Souls III getting FPS Boost, players can look forward to a much smoother frame rate of at least 60 frames per second. There’s no need to enable the FPS Boost – simply launch the game, download the necessary update, and the FPS will automatically be boosted.
