Nintendo announced Metroid Dread today for the Nintendo Switch at their E3 2021 Nintendo Direct broadcast that will launch on October 8.
Metroid Dread is the first 2D Metroid game in 19 years. For fans looking forward to Metroid 4, Nintendo revealed during the broadcast that the game is still in development.
