One of the major ways the upcoming WWE 2K26 will stand out from the rest of the titles in the popular wrestling game series is the Ringside Pass which will impact how you can buy and access all post-launch DLCs for the game. WWE 2K26 gameplay designer, Cornell Gunter, has recently expressed his confidence on the new system and the way it’s going to benefit players in ways that just wasn’t possible in the previous model of DLC release for the franchise. In a recent interview with Youtuber JustBryan, he stated:
“I’m very excited to see what the reactions are by the end of the lifecycle. Because I think people are going to be very, very happy with what we are able to achieve and what we brought to the table with the Ringside Pass.”
Similar to Battle passes in many other games out there, the Ringside pass in WWE 2K26 allows players to earn XP across all offline game modes and introduces a total of 60 free tiers and 40 premium tiers.
The Ringside pass for WWE 2K26 will arrive in different ‘seasons’ across the game’s life cycle and the first season will be release on the game’s launch day which is March 6 (for players with early access) along with five others planned for the following months. Season 2 is about to commence on April, Season 3 on June, Season 4 from July, Season 5 on September and Season 6 will start from October. However the contents of the Ringside passes for each season is yet to be announced and will possibly be in the next few weeks.
CM Punk is confirmed be the focus of the Showcase mode in WWE 2K26 and players will be able to recreate many of the superstar’s most memorable and pivotal matches from his long career.
WWE 2K26 is slated to release on March 13 worldwide and you can pre-order your favorite edition of the game right now across all platforms.
