The upcoming WWE 2K26 will add a plethora of new features and updates to most of it’s game modes, ensuring a significantly different flavor of gameplay experience than what the series has seen so far. The new additions and improvements in many of the game modes will help WWE 2K26 stand out from it’s predecessor in many exciting ways, making for a whole new brand of wrestling experience that will appeal to all fans of the series, even if they bought the previous title which is WWE 2K25.
Starting off from the Universe mode which is always a highlight for nearly all games in the franchise, this mode will receive several new features in WWE 2K26 which will add a layer of realism and replayability that weren’t there in the earlier titles. The new gameplay elements designed to revamp your experience of this mode are a new Universe Creation Wizard, additional promo types to spice up your in-game rivalries even more as well as a ‘Watch Show’ mode that will deliver more of a sim-type experience in the game.
The MyGM mode will also see a range of improvements and features such as support for more match types than ever before including inter-gender and eight-man matches, more shows in each season and new management challenges. It’s safe to say that if you loved the MyGM mode in earlier games, you’ll enjoy this mode a whole lot more in the upcoming WWE 2K26.
The MyRISE mode will also bring several new elements including the ability to continue your career progression even beyond the main campaign in WWE 2K26 which is also set to feature several decision making choices that can potentially alter the course of the narrative.
Another new change is that the Island mode which debuted in last year’s WWE 2K25, will now arrive on the PC platform as well as on the consoles.
Then there’s also tons of new additions in the game’s Creation suite which will now support 2,000 images, advanced body/face morphing and two-tone hair blending for even more meticulous customization for both your created Superstars and Arenas.
WWE 2K26 is slated to be released for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 13 and if you get the more expensive editions of the game, you can start playing from March 6.
