Escape from Ever After is a PC clearly inspired in games like Paper Mario, widely considered one of the best RPGs in the market crafted by Nintendo and their teams. Fans of the Paper Mario franchise might find some very quick similarities between Escape from Ever After and their beloved paper cut plumber. This is all intentional as this game is meant to pay tribute to a classic that accompanied many of us in the older days of gaming. There’s a ton to unravel, and so far this game is doing quite well review wise, so maybe you should give this project a try.
Escape from Ever After is out
The main point of the game is the fight against a terrible system called Capitalism, which is totally unrelated to what’s happening in the real world. This is a satirical RPG that is totally not a social critique of a certain system, and even if it were, we have to rally employees taken by an evil mega corporation against this heinous system to be able to escape it. As the name implies we have to break the corporate structure of Ever After so we can Escape from Ever After, the game even begins with a similar start to many Mario RPG games, but the baddies fortress has been turned into a company.
The game seems to run very well in low spec systems, so if you are looking for something that can be played with any computer you have assembled, perhaps this is the game that will answer your prayers. More games will release in a similar way, and they will have to downscale plans thanks to the hardware crisis that is currently ongoing. While this is not truly an indie game Escape from Ever After really deserves our support for being something neat, so perhaps wishlist it to help the developers out.
