Jackal is ready to kick some butt as evidenced by the release date trailer, this new PC game is clearly inspired by classics like Hotline Miami, it even got the aesthetic quite well despite it being a top down 3D game. Combining Tarantino Action with a plot similar to Hotline Miami, Jackal is set to be one of the best indies of 2026 by a long shot provided everything is made by people. Art is only human so trying to replace the process in any way makes it not art, but slop, however we can rest assured that Jackal is legit and a ton of people is hyped for it.
Jackal looks like John Wick
One of the things that comes to mind is that all the arsenal of moves we can use in Jackal seems to be taken from action shots from many of the John Wick movies, for fans of this series I bet that this game will fit pretty well with their tastes. For those seeking a plot, I’m sure Jackal will surprise us with some twists and turns along the road as we explore Las Vegas from the year 1970. This game will be filled with drama, action, and most importantly it might give gamers seeking for a challenge a very hard time.
If you are interested in it, it is coming very soon in February 5th of 2026, so get your wallets ready and you can even wishlist this game right now so more people can notice it and it spreads. This is a true indie game in every sense of the word as there’s no publishers involved with it, and there’s clearly zero publicity behind it, all of the operations are controlled by the independent team itself. So if you are seeking a real indie game, I believe that Jackal might be the best purchase you can make in 2026.
