Styx Blades of Greed just got an amazing demo and people are excited to get to play another classic on PC that comes back to the market after a long while of being inactive. For fans of the Thief franchise, Styx Blades of Greed provides something similar, this genre is very niche as there isn’t many games that push for this sort of gameplay despite many people actually liking stealth games. Modern gaming nowadays is too focused on Live Service games such as Fortnite or even things like League of Legends, not many players seem focused on the stealth genre despite being good.

If you want to play something new, something that isn’t trying to take your money away with various means of abusive microtransactions, you can just play Styx Blades of Greed. The new demo is very promising, and its actually quite the good game that seems to be well optimized for various systems. In a world where a ton of games are unoptimized, it is a blessing to deal with a game that does not seem to crash at every corner, and does not seem to require a massive PC that you won’t be able to get due to the current “AI” crisis.
Thanks to this components have skyrocketed and its almost impossible to get a decent PC to run most modern games that are often unoptimized for using engine like Unreal Engine 5 to be made and others. Thankfully this does not seem to be the case for Styx Blades of Greed cause it was made by people who already have experience in this industry, so maybe this one is a win for budget gamers who can’t afford to upgrade their hardware and are still stuck.
