Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is getting bigger on PC and other platforms, this new update marks a new era for the game, plenty of fixes have been added alongside some requested additions that players have been wanting since the release of this game. For starters, the game always happened in First Person mode which didn’t allow players to enjoy different views of the game no matter how hard they tried. Now, Update 2.0 adds the ability to fully play the game on Third Person mode, truly an amazing feature that perhaps nobody expected to see.

Alongside this new feature, New Game + has been added to give players an excuse to revisit the game and tackle a higher difficulty of challenges. New Game + has been an staple that followed us for decades now, so it is neat to see that the tradition might never die unless we somehow invent a new way to make games. To activate Third Person mode on PC, you just need to press J on your keyboard to switch the perspective and see all around you, perhaps they should also add some sort of setting on a menu to do this too.
The fact that they added a bind implies that Avatar Frontiers of Pandora was actually built with this feature since the beginning, but for some reason or another the original release of the game lost the ability to work in Third Person. 3D games are actually made with Third Person in mind because that’s the easiest way to implement better environments with more things to do. While there is some exceptions to the rule such as dungeon crawler games, games where the player is actually the camera, action games like Avatar Frontiers of Pandora just exist as Third Person games from their inception on the oldest of builds.
