The upcoming first season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is all set to improve and adjust the overall gameplay in a myriad of important ways, besides introducing whole new maps, modes, weapons and many more into the game. And the recently released full patch notes for the upcoming season provide a great outline for things to come for the latest entry in Activision juggernaut first person shooter franchise. So if you’re currently playing and enjoying Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, check out all the details in the official Black Ops 7 website.
Some of the crucial new changes that will heavily impact the moment-to-moment gameplay in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is the improved bullet penetration which has been carefully adjusted to make the gunplay more satisfying and empowering than before. There’s also a ton of gameplay fixes and adjustments taken directly from fan feedback which indicate a more polished gameplay experience in more ways than one.
The first season also brings new maps for both Zombies and regular multiplayer modes in Black Ops 7 which will be released in different phases throughout the season. In addition, the game’s Ricochet Anti-Cheat system has also received a number of fixes and tweaks which will possibly help make the overall gameplay a lot more fair and balanced for all players out there, regardless of their current skill levels in the game.
Then there’s also weapons like the NX Ravager and Ballistic Knife which you can get through completing challenges plus two new exotic weapons like the Killswitch which is a full auto assault rifle tailored toward aggressive gunplay and the highly adaptable Swarmforge full-auto SMG that’s ideal for close quarter combat.
Since it’s release on November 14, several elements of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 haven’t quite managed to take off yet, and one of them is the game’s single player campaign which has been heavily criticized for not having checkpoints and not even letting you pause while the other is the presence of multiple AI generated assets in the game. And although it’s sales numbers are currently not nearly as much as what it’s predecessors’ has been, it’d be interesting to see whether the cause of the decreased sales is the title being available in Game Pass or just franchise fatigue.
