Little Squirrel Cabin is very peculiar, a survival horror game with a rather cute aesthetic, but unlike other bait and switch horror games this ones tries to play an interesting balance. The trailer does not wait to reveal the intentions of the game, and it is clear that things will be extremely tense if you don’t know how to survive in this peculiar world. While innocent on the surface during the day, night is chaotic and seeks for your blood, provided you have prepared well you may survive it. This game focuses on preparation rather than constant fighting and it seems to be quite the experimental PC game too.
Little Squirrel Cabin is curious
The world is intriguing, with a ton of questions unanswered, many of these games can just be predicted directly from the trailers, but this one opens many questions instead. The vivid pixel art looks amazing, and I wonder how much time it took to make it after all what matters the most about art is the process itself. The game seems to be coming in January of 2026, and it really makes me remember of some creepypasta game that might have come in the past, and this is said as a compliment.
Little Squirrel Cabin looks phenomenal if you take the aesthetic into account, and perhaps the world building will also be amazing too. When you think about it, squirrels do hibernate, so this might be a game based around the concept of hibernation with a very creepy twist. The creator behind it is surely quite the imaginative person if the reason the game was made was due to that, and even if it wasn’t the idea is still neat regardless of its origin. To give your support to the developer of this curious indie game, try and put Little Squirrel Cabin in your wishlist.
