Early Access for Paralives got a delay, this new title for PC was meant to be an extremely expected entry for a genre that seems to be dying. There hasn’t been any good option for years now, and Paralives seems to be that game that is meant to revolutionize the genre by doing something good. Unfortunately, it just got delayed to check for polish and keep the game good. The big reason for the delay, is pretty much the tool that allows you to completely mod the game however you want. This tool is big, and its amazing we are being provided with this by purchasing the game.
Early Access for Paralives delayed
We can only hope that nothing bad happens to the development of this game, as it is a rather wholesome experience for a genre that needs to be revived. The fact that Paralives suffers this set back may also open the opportunity for other studios to attempt to bring something good, as there’s a big opportunity to capitalize upon. Dead genres are the best because one can often become a leader in them, giving you what is essentially a niche who is starving for a new release, and if you do it good, you can even become a referent for the genre in the future.
Seems like Alex and the team will have to do a ton of things to ensure the modding system is complete, only them can make Paralives an excellent game. Delays are good to ensure the quality of a title is pristine, and if Paralives wants to be the best game in the market for the sims type of genre, then it needs a delay. It isn’t out yet, but it will soon be out, we just need to hold on for some more time by playing The Sims 2 instead, nothing that has been rushed ends up good.
