Recently, NetEase Games fully announced the Marvel Rivals Season 5 Battle Pass content, aptly titled Grand Garden Adventure. The new season promises an avalanche of cosmetic content with ten new hero skins at the forefront. The token characters slated to get a new look in the Battle Pass include some of the old favorites like The Punisher, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch, but there are also newer heroes like Angela and some real nasty villains like Ultron and Hela. The characters getting their cosmetics are Namor, Adam Warlock, The Thing, and Groot.
The developer is showing great creative freedom with these ten cosmetics, throwing aside easy recolors for clever designs informed by much lore. For instance, Scarlet Witch is getting some love with a classic comic look close to her standard appearance of yesteryear. Namor, on the other hand, is doing pirate captain duty, taking Atlantis’ Prince to the seven seas. Among the many highlighted skins is Ultron, showcasing the villain dressed post-collecting the Infinity Stones, offering a frightening look into an alternate-timeline version of him. The variety even extends to Groot, who will be appearing in the classic blue and red uniform of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
With Season 5 now around the corner, the fourth season, especially with additions of the two new playable heroes Daredevil and Angela, provided yet another avenue for expanding Marvel Rivals. The steady stream of new content since the hero shooter was first launched proves the commitment of NetEase to evolve the game’s ecosystem and keep its base engaged with regular updates to the heroes and cosmetic features that are available.
While the immediate focus is on the Grand Garden Adventure, thoughts have already begun to drift towards what may emerge from Season 5 and beyond. This fresh set of rumors would point the way to what fans have been desperately clamoring for in Deadpool, who may finally show up in Season 6, perhaps alongside monster hunter Elsa Bloodstone. Although we will not likely see any information on the next major seasonal update until early 2026, the prospects of having such significant roster additions suggest that Marvel Rivals has an ambitious development roadmap in place, ensuring that the multiplayer title has an enticing and competitive future.
