One-Notebook has launched an Indiegogo campaign for the OneXFly APEX, one of the craziest pieces of tech in 2025. So far, the goal has been reached in nothing, which is surprising and even a bit mysterious when you think about it. With only 264 backers so far, the number keeps rising to surpass what was asked for before, it does kind of make sense why this is happening. With the rise of handheld gaming, we need more and more powerful systems to be able to run games from PC that aren’t optimized for them. While the solution could be to optimize said games, it seems that studios are mostly focused on racing against each other.
OneXFly APEX gets revealed
The most impressive thing about this handheld is the fact that it has a working water cooler system, which means that we will be able to play this one for long periods of time without it combusting or getting hot like other portables. Along with this, features such as a removable battery pack and a charger have been added to the system too, which handles 85Wh. This is an insane machine when it comes to power, being able to deal with the most demanding triple A games in the market without breaking a sweat.
The OneXFly APEX however comes with a very hefty price, the regular version that they wanna sell is around 2200 dollars, and the liquid cooled version isn’t far off either costing around the same price as long as the offer lasts. That one comes with an AMD APU, the MAX+ 395 which is more than enough to kick in multiple games with max settings at decent FPS. There’s also the weaker variant for around 1300 dollars, the MAX 385, which is still a beast to take into consideration compared to other portables in the market. The massive success of the OneXFly APEX might be tough to replicate by other companies.
