Unreal Engine 5 kills many games no matter in what computer you play them. It is crazy that we have to deal with something so unstable at our current point with technology and it seems as if companies were taking turns to joke about us right in our face. Developers have even opted to roll back towards Unreal Engine 4, a bad engine but still better than Unreal Engine 5 in many ways. Now, Halo is at the center of the warfare when it comes to this new controversy, and things are getting pretty bad for the four colored giant named Microsoft, and even worse for Xbox.
Unreal Engine 5 makes slop
A ton of things made in that engine run poorly, and they look worse than games we have received before. Some of the ideas are cool but all of them are implemented in such a sloppy way that it’s not really worth it. People want to play a game, not look at some movie that looks the same as other movies, we are so tired of seeing everything looking the same exact way and this needs to end now. There is a reason many developers opt to roll back to previous versions, they do not wish to be associated with slop in any way as Unreal Engine 5 has generative “AI” tools embedded.
Not to mention that making your game in older engines expands your capability to sell it to more users, as people will be able to buy the game based on their PC specs. Many gamers are running on very low end systems, so they need something that works and often time those are games made with passion and zero Generative “AI”. While Halo Remake might not be made with any of these so called “tools”, the engine its made on opens a lot of questions to be answered.
