Pocketpair has rolled out the Palworld Halloween 2025 Update (Version 0.6.8) over all available platforms, marking the first major seasonal content drop in advance of the holiday for the game. This is centered on the “Halloween Mission,” which rewards players with the chance to unlock unique cosmetic rewards, notably a seasonal outfit for the character Zoe and a distinct Depresso-themed armor set for the player avatar. This comes at a time when things are especially busy for the development team, who is also preparing to unveil more about the mobile port of the game, which many have been anticipating, at the G-Star 2025 event in November.
The update mainly focuses on these two cosmetics available via in-game missions. Depresso armor set takes a little bit of time to acquire by finding the Wannabe Depresso Islander at the Lake Center fast travel point. Getting this armor set requires some work since you’ll need to gather twenty pieces of High-Quality Cloth plus one hundred Venom Glands, which usually are bought from merchants or dropped by various Pals. Conversely, Zoe’s Halloween clothes come from an entirely different route. Players will have to fight and defeat Zoe at the Desolate Church after beating that fight in Windswept Hills tower. Now, from the battle, players can obtain the blueprint as long as Zoe and Grizzbolt are part of the player’s party, with minimal requirements for crafting at only five Cloth and five Leather pieces.
Apart from the seasonal glam, there are substantial changes and an utterly new active quest from the patch. A quest called “Zoe’s Sphere” was introduced to help acquire the widely known Pal Zoe & Grizzbolt. Players now have the objective of defeating and capturing thirty members of the Free Pal Alliance that are around the world. And the quality of life that this update promises also goes to communities that have been marginalized in multiplayer servers. The game introduces chat notifications to state clearly when someone has joined or disconnected from the server.
While parts of exciting Halloween events, it’s not restricted to the current active player base but continues to polish the game. As continuous development passes during Early Access, hopeful that a full 1.0 release is waiting in 2026, the steady flow of both in-game content and technical fixes demonstrates the studio’s commitment to ensuring a very stable feature-rich final launch. As a seasonal update, it serves as a good signal of one’s ongoing support, weighing missions and cosmetics against critically needed mechanical adjustments as the game progresses.
