Ubisoft has released a short gameplay footage for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora showcasing the upcoming third person mode which will arrive on December 5 and is expected to deliver a more revamped and immersive visual experience. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is already one of the best looking titles in recent years and the third person perspective will surely make everything look a bit better and more realistic cause of the slightly higher pixel densities that come with a larger viewpoint.

As you can see from the trailer, the third person viewpoint makes Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora look stunningly photorealistic and significantly more immersive than the base game. The third person mode also increases the sense of scale which means a lot of areas in the game will look a lot more epic and jaw dropping in many ways.
According to Ubisoft, players will be able to switch between the original first person to the new third person perspective with the press of a button which means you’ll be able to regulate your preferred experience of the game in different areas. We also see the perspective seguing from the usual first person view to the new third person mode seamlessly which means the transition will be extremely smooth and snappy.
The third person mode will also impact the game’s parkour and general open world explorations and bring a different flavor to them than what you’ve experienced in the base version. And yes, the upcoming update will be completely free for everyone who bought the game.
Also, besides the third person mode, the upcoming update will also include New Game plus for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora which will add more life into the game in more ways than one. Ubisoft has stated the New Game plus mode will bring whole new challenges for experienced players of the game by featuring tougher enemies, a new skill tree and more powerful gears.
