Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma has been an excellent experience for many fans of the Rune Factory series on PC, reviews seem to be quite on the positive side and there’s many changes to the formula that have been well received. One has to keep in mind that this is meant to be a spinoff title rather than an entry to the main series, as the original games born in the older days of gaming tout themselves as “Futuristic Harvest Moon” games. Kind of a weird thing to say if you ask me, but the west is obsessed with that idea of pushing IP’s through familiarity rather than accepting new IP’s.
Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma gets a big update
This big update gives us a variety of changes and new features that player will truly love, including bug fixes and adjustments to the quality of life in the game, there’s also some amazing new things such as expansions to Bond Levels, a new development zone in the Summer Village, and a Boss Gauntlet that seems amazing for those who wish to tackle some old pals again. These changes are welcome by the community, especially the boss gauntlet, since features like that often give people excuses to revisit the game many times.
Updates like this are a blessing, especially when we talk about a game that nears the triple A scale of production, Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma is an amazing title that people should try out, but I also recommend to try the first ones first. No matter if one perceives a game as old, knowing the origin of things is something that is worth a ton when it comes to understanding context, I know that people often hate reading or deciding what to do by themselves in games, but this needs to change quick or games will just be click to win.
