Effulgence RPG is quite the amazing idea when it comes to graphical display techniques, this game is obviously inspired by old ASCII art RPGs for old PCs and it decides to evolve the art style in a wild way that has been never seen before. I really pray that this kick starts a trend of games that decide to experiment with ASCII art as a whole because it really in quite the interesting limitation to take into account. This turn based system also looks unique enough, like something taken from the SaGa series and blended with stuff from Dungeons and Dragons. We at Infinite Start will cover this new demo.
Effulgence RPG is an amazing idea
As the post shows us, yes, this has never been done before as far as I’m aware and I know a lot about the medium. We can hope that this game succeeds in setting some new standard or perhaps being a fresh unique experience compared to the landscape filled with copies of popular ideas. Playing a game like this feels like playing some interactive tech demo of the early days on the Demoscene, and it truly is a trippy adventure to enjoy as a single player experience.
