Little Nightmares III got a demo, and its honestly quite the impressive co-op entry to an already popular series. PC gamers are very familiar with the Little Nightmares series and its huge amount of creepy scenarios, this is another thing that does not disappoint in this new entry, Supermassive Games keeps doing what they should and quality is on the table. However, one thing to not is that the graphics of the original game are still the best ones, especially considering at the time it came back then, things didn’t change much, but its is respectable that they didn’t, it’s an art style after all.
Little Nightmares III got a new demo
This new entry focuses on the co-op aspects and they integrate seamlessly into the gameplay. Thankfully one can play alone if they so desire, it is an unfortunate reality that not many people have friends to have fun on a 1 on 1 experience. The atmosphere is as grim as always and the puzzles quite intricate, we also play as a new set of characters, a duo that can be either controlled by the CPU or a player themselves. This is one of the few games that still cares about keeping the cooperative spirit trying.
Little Nightmares III comes as a surprise, because Supermassive Games have their hands filled with remakes and remasters of the originals, there’s so much work happening at the same time and it feels like they might not have enough time juggling everything as an indie studio. Bandai Namco usually puts tons of pressure on smaller studios, making them commit some mistakes here and there during development, as it is quite common to see this happen in the industry. Indie studios should focus on self publishing in some way, even if that means you can just open a KickStarter, many good projects started there, you can try the demo of Little Nightmares III now.
