Destiny 2 is the last pillar standing for Bungie, and they made another “mistake“. Moving a known free cosmetic into the paid section is ludicrous, and players are lashing out at the fact that this happened, it seems that Bungie can’t stop taking hits to their reputation, and Sony might be considering dropping them like the hot potato they are. After the stealing scandal of the Marathon revival they made, players from all across the world started realizing how terrible Bungie is as a company, because you can never trust what they are up to. If players stop trusting triple A companies they will just go to indies instead.
Destiny 2 players are tired
This was the last straw on the camels back, and it seems that ratings for Destiny 2 are mixed right now, this ongoing review bomb fight might ignite the last powder keg barrel to blow away Bungie from the industry’s hypothetical sea. There’s many ships in this sea currently, that being the indie game underground that extends far and wide compared to the reach that the triple A industry once had. Now people is able to opt for better games, real games that are reminiscent to those they played in the past. People want the past, not because nostalgia, but because things were better than today.
The removal of the free armor set, a pretty neat one at that, is another blunder in the pile of mistakes that Bungie has committed in their career, while we don’t know when will Bungie stop being like that or cease to operate, we know that the Marathon live service is in trouble. Sony has cut the publicity funding for the game, and it seems that they don’t have faith on it succeeding because the Live Service sector is filled to the brim with slop, we hope that instead of continuing with Destiny 2, they bring a single player Marathon game like people want.
