Cult of the Lamb is about to get a massive DLC that rivals with the size of the base game itself. This is a huge callback because one of the most hyped up games ever that released recently had a similar fate with one of their expansion, that being Hollow Knight Silksong. Of course, this wasn’t the case for Cult of the Lamb, because it is not as huge as Silksong is, but it will be bigger than what we know so far. There’s a big probability that this will be just like the DLCs for the Binding of Isaac, judging for the fact that both of these are similar games.
Cult of The Lamb is gonna get bigger
Perhaps you can join into the fun that this game brings and see it grow in real time alongside other members. The activities of the cult are diverse and they are about to get even more fun and dangerous too. With the Woolhaven DLC, which is coming soon in 2026, a ton of new content will be added, including bosses, new modifiers and perhaps even some new maps which will include new graphics. You can take the Woolhaven DLC as if it were a sequel of sorts, similar to how older PC games worked back in the day.
There’s still no clear details on how much things will expand, but rest assured that when a game published by Devolver Digital states that it will be as big as the base game, they aren’t lying. Developers themselves are stating that they flew a bit too close to the sun, so yeah, someone must have stepped into to cut the feature creep that was happening during development before it became unsustainable. It is crazy to see how much the development of a game changes when there’s tons of love put into it like Cult of the Lamb has.
