The Division 2 just added its biggest improvement yet, Survival Mode has been widely requested by fans of the game who were keen on asking for more content. PC gamers have been enjoying this live service, but they recognize that the medium is overloaded by them, people are starting to get tired of so many live service games, and if they don’t bring anything new to the table then people will leave them for the classics. This has been happening already, people are spending more time in Counter Strike 2 and Fortnite, and it seems that any other Live Service game does not last as long as it should. We at Infinite Start will cover this addition.
The Division 2 gets new content
Survival Mode might be like the one from The Division 1, and honestly, it shouldn’t be different in any other way. To ensure the success of The Division 2, they really need to use the strengths of older games in the series. PvE shall be the way to go, as it will be an amazing way to latch on the current trend of cooperative based games against the NPCs. In a way, this could be like a Mann VS Machine Mode in Team Fortress 2, only that it wouldn’t be as good as that mode is. Really, Ubisoft hasn’t been doing their best effort, they really don’t care.
People should be aware that The Division 2 is another live service game, that means if you buy this one, you can suffer the same fate that The Crew fans suffered when the game just expired. Thankfully, Stop Killing Games has reached its voting goal, so things have been secured for now and we still need to see what will happen moving forward. If you really care about the preservation of The Division 2, you should call your representatives if you live in Europe to see if they can support Stop Killing Games.
