Wild Blue got an amazing trailer showing us how the new Rail Shooter plays out, and honestly, it is amazing, it is also impressive that we will get this one on PC too. Like always, PC gaming keeps being the best option available, and there’s really no way to beat it no matter how hard consoles try. Perhaps the Playdate is one of the few consoles in the market that still brings something new to the table, and even then, there really isn’t any sort of innovative system out there with a gimmick. Gimmicks are good, non-standard architecture is also extremely cool too, maybe we should go back to those days.
Wild Blue reveals some neat gameplay
This is clearly a game based on Star Fox, and if Nintendo isn’t gonna do it then its time another person takes the mantle and brings its own input into the idea. It has been basically decades since a game like this came out that played the same as a classic, and for some baffling reason Nintendo isn’t making it or trying to keep the legacy of Star Fox alive in any way. This is when fans need to take the helm and make dreams into reality, and it seems that Wild Blue is gonna be the game that pulls the Star Fox fan base together for a good game.
There’s still no release date, but we can assume it might drop in 2026, these sort of games need some time to be developed, as new ideas can completely shift how the map is designed and how things play out too. A minimal change in a game like this might signify having to adapt the whole concept again, and that can add upon the development time. If you are interested, you can wishlist Wild Blue here on Steam.
