Since Battlefield 6’s official reveal trailer this past week, there has been an upsurge in leak multiplayer gameplay from the upcoming first person shooter across the Internet. However, one of the most notable ones among all of them is the 25 minute gameplay video featuring Tank gameplay in Battlefield 6, which is uploaded by SphinxFPS and you can watch it on Youtube. So check it out while it’s still available as this footage provides an extended look at the tank gameplay you’ll get to experience in EA’s upcoming flagship shooter series, so this also works as kind of a preview for Battlefield 6’s tank combat.
One of the distinctive aspects of the Battlefield series is that unlike most multiplayer shooters out there, it doesn’t just offer tense boots-on-the-ground infantry action, but the sort of full scale warfare involving tanks, jets and other vehicles that you just can’t get in any other shooter. This wide and rich gamut of gameplay offers something for all FPS lovers and fans, providing an engaging and highly satisfying experience for anyone who loves the genre.
This gameplay video starts with the player using a gas torch as sort of a ‘repair tool’ on one of the tanks where bringing the torch’s flame closer to the tank instantly starts regenerating it’s health bar. This means in Battlefield 6, there are probably multiple ways of repairing your tanks even in the midst of heated battles, ensuring an increased amount of tank combat than we’ve seen from any other title in the series so far.
The video also showcases the tanks from the inside and we see there are a total of four or six seats where the two players in the front have the brunt of the work while the others are mostly taking cover inside the vehicle. The first player is responsible for maneuvring the tank and handling it’s main cannon, while the second player has control over it’s secondary turret and the video also shows the tank being controlled from both first and third person perspectives.
There are lots of more tank gameplay in the footage which does a really good job of showcasing everything you can expect while controlling a tank in Battlefield 6, so make sure to watch it in it’s entirety.
A full multiplayer reveal of Battlefield 6 is set to take place next Thursday on July 31st where we’ll likely get to see actual gameplay footage and more information on the upcoming shooter. Battlefield 6 will also feature 64-player combat which suggests it’s closer to the multiplayer action that we’ve seen in both Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4, titles that many fans consider as some of the the best entries in the franchise.
