It has recently come to light that the new rumors concerning Battlefield 6 allegedly suggest that for the Battle Royale mode expected to be included in the game, there will be a separate map called “Lyndon Beach.” While there is no confirmation by Electronic Arts of a Battle Royale feature for the new game, thousands are participating in data mining and sharing what they believe players will see in the game.
This is not the first time that the series has explored the Battle Royale concept. Battlefield 5 offered the mode called “Firestorm,” which received mixed reviews. Currently, all the noise indicates that if there is going to be a Battle Royale mode, it’s probably not going to be available at launch with Battlefield 6. Reportedly, there will be a staggered release in which the mode will drop months after the core game comes out, putting it in early 2026 if the core game launches in October 2025, like all the rumors say.
Temporyal has done interesting work coming up with these claims, as the Battlefield data miner seems to have made his own map based on those findings attributed to the supposed Battle Royale map. According to Temporyal, Lyndon Beach will have several key points of interest, including places referred to as “The Valley,” “Fort Lyndon,” and “The Docks.” There are also indications of an underground metro system; however, it remains unclear whether this will be functional in the final game. Internally, this mode is referred to as Battlefield Royale, although that might change prior to release. As always, it would be advisable to take all such information with a pinch of salt until any official announcements, as with unverified leaks. The Battle Royale market is extremely overcrowded, and it will be a huge hurdle for Battlefield 6 to specifically come into the race.
